Notice of Requested Architectural Services

Notice is hereby given of the commencement of the selection process for project management services for Kansas State University (KSU). The university is currently short of staff to manage design and construction projects. They are seeking firms to act as the owner’s representative for projects of all sizes being executed by on-call firms and firms hired for capital projects. The firm(s) hired will be required to review and comment on design, construction documents, change orders, and code footprints as well as serving as the owner’s representative at meetings throughout the duration of the design and construction of any given project. Coordinating the project with the KSU facilities staff and their procedures is expected. The ability to quickly respond to critical elements uncovered during construction is important and, as such, preference will be given to firms within 30 miles of Manhattan, Kansas. Multiple firms may be selected. The contracts will be for three years. For more information, contact Rosanna Carvalho at rcarvalho@ksu.edu or phone 785-532-1732.

To be considered, one (1) PDF file of the following should be provided: State of Kansas Professional Qualifications DCC Forms 051 through 054, inclusive, and information regarding similar projects. These forms may be found at https://admin.ks.gov/offices/facilities-property-management/design-construction--compliance/forms-and-documents.
