Notice to Bidders

Notice is hereby given for the receipt of subcontractor bids for the A-014813 University of Kansas (KUMC) Cancer Center – Research Tower – Bid Package 06 – Hemenway MRI. This project is being delivered using procedures established under the Kansas alternate project delivery building construction procurement act (K.S.A 75-37,141 et seq.) for KUMC. JE Dunn Construction is the Construction Manager. The contact person is Brian Hoeppner at brian.hoeppner@jedunn.com, phone 816-283-9064.

Subcontractor bids will be received for the following scopes of work:

  • Building and site concrete
  • Miscellaneous steel
  • Demolition/carpentry
  • Architectural screenwall
  • Drywall and ceilings
  • Fluid applied flooring
  • Painting
  • Fire protection
  • HVAC and plumbing
  • Electrical

Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. (Central Time) April 17, 2025, and are to be received by Building Connect. NOTE: Bids for demolition/carpentry scope of work are to be submitted to professional.qualifications@ks.gov.

All bidders must be prequalified in JE Dunn’s Subcontractor Management System (SMS). Create or update company information by following directions at https://sms.jedunn.com.

Email brian.hoeppner@jedunn.com with intent to bid. An in-person pre-bid walk will occur at 10:30 a.m. April 7, 2025, if you would like to review the site. Please contact brian.hoeppner@jedunn.com if you are interested in a pre-bid walk.
