Notice to Bidders

Summit Sustainable Ingredients, LLC (D/B/A Amber Wave) of Ames, Iowa is currently seeking bidders for a rail yard expansion project at their facility in Phillipsburg, Kansas. Interested bidders shall contact Jacob Ferrell with ASM Engineering Consultants at jferrell@asm4.com to request a bid package for the upcoming project. Bid packages will be transmitted via file share site within 1-2 business days of request.

The project consists of the following major items:

  • Approximately 7000 track feet of new rail construction
  • Five turnouts
  • Drainage improvements
  • All necessary civil/earthwork construction to build suitable railbed per the construction documents.

This project is a recipient of the KDOT RSIP Grant, and a single contract shall be awarded with Amber Wave for the construction. Amber Wave reserves the right to reject any or all bids purely at their discretion. Bids are due electronically to Steve Adams at sadams@amberwaveusa.com by 3:00 p.m. (Central Time) Friday, March 21, 2025.
