Notice to Contractors

Project

Rehabilitation of Floodwater Retarding Dam Site 14 in Lyon County, Kansas, located 1.75 miles south and 1.25 miles east of Bushong, Kansas for Allen Creek Watershed District No. 89.

General Scope of Work

Repair of front-slope erosion with 930 tons of riprap; repair of ditch along fence on west end of dam; repair of minor erosion in the auxiliary spillway; associated earthwork, seeding and mulching.

10:00 a.m. (Central Time) Wednesday, March 6, 2024, convening at 868 Road 290, Americus, KS 66835. Non-mandatory.

Bid Opening

10:00 a.m. (Central Time) Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 868 Road 290, Americus, KS 66835. Sealed bids will be received by Curtis Janssen, Engineer/CO, at 280 K-68 Hwy., Lyndon, KS 66451 until 8:00 a.m. the day of the opening, or may be delivered at time of opening. Any bid received after the specified times will not be considered.
