The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Division of Health Care Finance (KDHE-DHCF) is amending the Kansas Medicaid State Plan. The Management of Self-monitoring Blood Pressure (SMBP) treatment plans will be added to the Kansas Medicaid State Plan as a preventive outpatient service for persons using SMBP devices as part of their care.

The proposed effective date for the State Plan Amendment (SPA) is January 1, 2024.
