Notice to Bidders

The City of Wichita, Kansas will receive bids at the City of Wichita Purchasing Office, 455 N. Main, 12th Floor, Wichita, KS 67202, until 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2023, for the bidding of West Street, Harry Street to Pawnee Avenue (KDOT Project No. 87N-0720-01/472-85433/40103918, KDOT/PAVING MUNIS #E8049).

Plans and specifications for this project will be available October 4, 2023. Electronic plan sheets for this project will only be available in the ARC Document Solutions plan room for the City of Wichita projects at https://order.e-arc.com/arcEOC/PWELL_PublicList.asp?mem=170. Other questions should be directed to the respective design engineer at 316-268-4505.

All bids received will thereafter be publicly opened, read aloud, and considered by the Board of Bids and Contracts. All work is to be done under the direction and supervision of the City Manager and according to plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer. Bidders are required to enclose a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) with each bid as a guarantee of good faith. The Wichita City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
