Notice of Hearing

Pursuant to K.S.A. 75-37,143(d), the State Building Advisory Commission will conduct a public hearing at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in Suite 1200, 12th Floor, Eisenhower State Office Building, 700 SW Harrison St., Topeka, Kansas. Check in at the front desk with Security is required.

The purpose of the hearing is for the public to have an opportunity to comment on a request from the Kansas Department of Transportation to utilize Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) alternate project delivery method for the KDOT District 1 Complex Relocation Project.

The District One Complex is being relocated from its present site at 17th and Van Buren to a location at 21st and Rice Road in Topeka, Kansas. The district office and shop, along with the materials and research lab and various storage buildings, will all relocate to this new site.
