Public Notice

The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Division of Health Care Finance (KDHE-DHCF) is amending the Kansas Medicaid State Plan. KDADS is adding the Children’s Behavioral Interventionist Service, available to any individual up to age 21 based on a determination of medical necessity.

The proposed effective date for the State Plan Amendment (SPA) is October 1, 2023.
