Notice of Hearing

The Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) will conduct two public hearing options to provide an opportunity for citizens to review and comment upon the preliminary draft of the 2024 Kansas Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) State Plan.

The proposed CSBG State Plan will be available for public examination beginning July 31, 2023, and online at https://kshousingcorp.org/community-services/community-services-block-grant.

Limited hard copies will be available at the public hearing site and upon request.

Public Comments

KHRC will accept comments regarding the proposed CSBG State Plan until 5:00 p.m. August 16, 2023. There are two convenient ways to submit a comment:

  1. Send an email to the CSBG Program Manager at csbg@kshousingcorp.org.
  2. Send a written letter to the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation, CSBG Program Manager, 611 S. Kansas Ave., Suite 300, Topeka, KS 66603.

Individuals with disabilities or limited English proficiency are welcome to attend and participate in the public hearing. If you are in need of a sign language interpreter, an assistive listening device, large print, Braille material, or other accommodation to attend this meeting, please notify KHRC at least five working days prior to the meeting. Requests may be addressed to KHRC, 611 S. Kansas Ave., Suite 300, Topeka, KS 66603-3803 or by phone at 785-217-2044 via the Kansas relay service. The schedule of hearings is as follows:
