Project

Rehabilitation of Detention Dam Site D-12 located south of 18th Road NE, approximately 17 miles west on 7th Street, then 2 miles north on NE Wayside Road, back east 0.15 miles on 18th Road NE, from the intersection 7th Street and US-59 Highway in Garnett, Anderson County, Kansas for Pottawatomie Creek Watershed Joint District No. 90.

General Scope of Work

Installing and grouting a 160’ of 6” PVC pipe in the existing 18” diameter corrugated metal principal spillway pipe, installing 140’ of new 14” diameter principal spillway pipe, installation of sand collar, installing drawdown pipe and valve, working on the stilling basin, modifying the auxiliary spillway, associated earthwork, seeding, and fence work.

Bid Opening

6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Pottawatomie Creek Watershed Office, 146 E. 5th Ave., Garnett, KS 66032. Sealed bids will be received until 5:00 p.m. March, 24,2026, by James Cubit, Manager/Contracting Officer, at 146 E. 5th Ave., Garnett, KS 66032.
