Notice to Bidders

The Kansas Department of Transportation’s (KDOT) Office of Public Transportation announces that the Kansas Coordinated Transit District Council (KCTDC) is now accepting courtesy bids for Kansas’ transit vehicles.

These courtesy bids will cover two types of 2025-2027 model-year transit vehicles, including full-size vans with optional wheelchair lifts and low-floor full-size vans with ramps. The transit vehicles will be funded by the Federal Transit Administration and the State of Kansas and must comply with all applicable federal (including FMVSS, Buy America, and ADA requirements) and state laws for passenger vehicles of this type. These vehicles will be used in the KDOT Public Transportation program to transport the elderly, persons with disabilities, and the general public.

The bid opening is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. August 12, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. Inquiries or requests for bid information should be made directly to:
