Notice to Bidders
Notice is hereby given for the receipt of subcontractor bids for the A-014988 Kansas State University Strong Complex Renovations – Boyd Hall project. This project is being delivered using procedures established under the Kansas alternate project delivery building construction procurement act (K.S.A 75-37,141 et seq.) for McCownGordon Construction, the Construction Manager.
Subcontractor bids will be received for the following scopes of work:

- 08 40 00 Glass and glazing
- 06 40 00 Architectural woodwork
- 07 40 00 Roofing

- 09 20 00 Drywall and plaster
- 09 64 00 Wood flooring
- 09 65 00 Carpet, resilient flooring, and tile
- 09 90 00 Painting and wall coverings
- 10 20 00 Specialties
- 14 20 00 Elevators
- 21 00 00 Fire suppression
- 22 00 00 Plumbing
- 23 00 00 Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
- 26 00 00 Electrical
- 31 00 00 Earthwork
- 32 80 00 Landscaping and irrigation
- 33 00 00 Site utilities
Bids will be received until November 14, 2024.
All bidders must prequalify. Prior to being awarded a contract, all bidders are required to qualify with McCownGordon. McCownGordon utilizes a secure online system to administer the qualification review process. Bidders who are not prequalified should go to https://mccowngordon.com/trade-partners/ and click the “Prequalify Now” link to begin the process. Any questions regarding the prequalification process should be directed to Abigail Freeman at afreeman@mccowngordon.com. By submitting a bid, your company agrees that it will submit a recent financial statement, references, and safety history prior to award of a contract. Subcontractor will execute a copy of McCownGordon Construction’s current MSA.
All bidders should advise of their intent to bid. Intent to bid can be sent through bid solicitation software at http://www.buildingconnected.com.
