Notice of Right to Request a Hearing on Proposed Revocation of Administrative Regulations
Pursuant to K.S.A. 77-440, The Office of the State Bank Commissioner (OSBC) submitted a report to the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules and Regulations (JCARR) summarizing the review of its administrative rules and regulations and identifying regulations that are not necessary for the implementation and administration of state law. Pursuant to K.S.A. 77-426(d), the OSBC proposes to revoke all remaining regulations promulgated under the Savings and Loan Code by filing a notice of revocation with the Secretary of State. The powers and duties of the Savings and Loan Department and the Office of Savings and Loan Commissioner transferred to the OSBC. K.S.A. 75-1309. The powers and duties of the Savings and Loan Commissioner transferred to the State Bank Commissioner. K.S.A. 75-1310. 2018 SB 335 repealed the Savings and Loan Code.
The OSBC will schedule a public hearing on the proposed revocations only upon the written request of a member of the public. K.S.A. 77-426(d)(2)(A). The period to receive written comment from members of the public is 30 days from the date of publication in the Kansas Register of this Notice of Right to Request a Hearing Regarding the Proposed Revocation of Administrative Regulations.
The OSBC has determined that the following regulations do not interpret existing statutes and has proposed revocation:
