The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) is amending the following Kansas Medicaid 1915(c) Waiver: Technology Assisted (TA).

The proposed amendment covers the following:

  • Standardizes performance measures with the other HCBS waivers.
  • Updates language to clarify legal guardians, active durable powers of attorney, and family as paid caregivers.

The proposed effective date for the Technology Assisted (TA) waiver amendment is June 24, 2024.

KDADS is seeking public comments from May 9, 2024 through June 21, 2024 on the proposed amendment.

The proposed amendment is posted on the KDADS website at http://www.kdads.ks.gov (under the Long-Term Services & Supports page and then Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Programs) or may be requested:
