Notice to Bidders
Notice is hereby given for the receipt of subcontractor bids for the A-014699 Kansas State University Global Center for Grain and Food Innovation (GCGFI) – “Site Make Ready” package. This project is being delivered using procedures established under the Kansas alternate project delivery building construction procurement act (K.S.A. 75-37, 141 et seq.) for Kansas State University. The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is the construction manager. Contact person is Matt Jones at matt.jones@whiting-turner.com.
Subcontractor bids will be received for the following scopes of work:
- 01A – General trades
- 01B – Temporary fencing
- 01C – Surveying
- 02A – Demolition
- 23B – Plumbing and mechanical safe off
- 26B – Electrical safe off and site electrical relocation
- 26C – Early release electrical equipment
- 31A – Earthwork and site utilities
Bids will be received until 5:00 p.m. (Central Time) Monday, February 26, 2024, via Electronic Sealed Bid Submission utilizing BuildingConnected.
All bidders should advise of their intent to bid on BuildingConnected, i.e. Undecided, Bidding, and Not Bidding. All bid documents, sample contracts, contract exhibits, insurance requirements, scopes of work, schedule, logistics plans, messages, addenda, notices of changes, notice of change of bid date, etc. will be communicated through BuildingConnected at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company’s public plan room at https://app.buildingconnected.com/public/5430e8255cdc2e0300ddf357.
All bidders must prequalify through The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, via a secure online system, called TradeTapp, to administer the prequalification process. Bidders who are not prequalified, please email Matt Jones at matt.jones@whiting-turner.com to request an invitation to TradeTapp.
