Notice of Meeting

The Kansas Historic Sites Board of Review will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, via Zoom hosted by the Kansas Historical Society. We invite you to attend the meeting virtually or by phone. The link will be posted on our website 14 days before the meeting and can be found at https://www.kshs.org/14633.

The Board will consider the following items:

  • Consideration of Nomination to both the National and State Registers
    (* denotes properties within a Certified Local Government boundary)
    • Guild, William R, House – Hiawatha, Brown County
    • Matfield Green High School Gym – Matfield Green, Chase County
    • Carver Social League – Pittsburg, Crawford County
    • Hotel Josephine – Holton, Jackson County
    • Oakwood Cemetery – Parsons, Labette County
    • Vermillion Methodist Church – Vermillion, Marshall County
    • Stamey Hotel – Hutchinson, Reno County*
    • Downtown Kansas City Commercial District – Kansas City, Wyandotte County*
