Public Notice

The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks has reached an agreement for the purchase of a tract of land in Rooks County, Kansas. The parcel consists of 156 acres, more or less, as follows: West Half of the Northwest Quarter (W/2 NW/4) of Section Seven (7), Township Eight (8) South, Range Nineteen (19) West of the 6th P.M., Rooks County, Kansas and East Half of the Northwest Quarter (E/2 NW/4) of Section Seven (7), Township Eight (8) South, Range Nineteen (19) West of the 6th P.M., Rooks County, Kansas. The total purchase price is $220,000. This tract shall be managed as part of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Public Lands Division and will remain on the county’s tax rolls.
