Notice of CMS Approval

Pursuant to K.S.A. 65-6208(c), notice is hereby given that the Kansas Department of Health and Environment has received approval from the United States Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to amend the KanCare Section 1115 demonstration’s budget neutrality agreement, which will support the state in implementing the changes made to the Health Care Access Improvement Program by L. 2020, Ch. 7, Sec. 1. These changes shall be effective on and after July 1, 2022.
