The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks has reached an agreement for the purchase of a tract of land in Jewell County, Kansas. The parcel consists of 40 acres, more or less, as described per Uniform Rural Appraisal Report #3914 in the Southwest Quarter of Northeast Quarter (SW/4NE/4) of Section Five (5), Richland Township Two (2) South, Range Seven (7) West of the 6th P.M. in Jewell County, Kansas. The appraised value is $99,000. The total purchase price is $99,000. This tract shall be managed as part of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Lovewell Wildlife Area and will remain on the county’s tax rolls.
