Request for Proposals

The MidAmerica Nazarene University is accepting sealed bid proposals for the project listed below.

Project

Access Control Readers and Panic Buttons.

Project Requirements

  • Furnish and install (6) panic buttons in the Lunn cashier’s office.
  • Furnish and install (26) exterior and (1) interior card readers and repin cylinders for the following buildings/openings:
    • Gilliland, 1exterior opening
    • Land Gym, 2 exterior openings
    • Uphaus Dormitory, 1 exterior opening
    • Stockton Dormitory, 1 exterior opening
    • Rice Dormitory, 1 exterior opening
    • Spindle, 1 exterior opening
    • Lanpher Dormitory, 2 exterior openings
    • Snowbarger Dormitory, 1 exterior opening
    • Weatherby Chapel, 2 exterior openings
    • Lunn Building, 2 exterior openings
    • Osborne, 2 exterior openings, 1 interior opening
    • Murlen Building, 2 exterior openings
    • Smith Building, 4 exterior openings
    • Metz Building, 4 exterior openings
  • The proposal should include the following items:
    • provide and install low voltage cabling
    • final cable terminations at field devices and
    • headend locations
  • Installation of the system hardware shall not damage or cause removal of character defining architectural features and shall be easily removed in the future. Mounting bolts shall be drilled into the mortar between bricks.

This is an open and competitive process. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered and will be returned unopened. All work shall be completed by the time period agreed upon and negotiated with MNU to meet University expectations and in compliance with requirements set by the NSGP. The proposal must contain the signature of a duly authorized officer or agent of the company submitting the proposal.
