SECRETARY SCHWAB REMINDS KANSANS OF ELECTION NIGHT REPORTING WEBPAGE
Tuesday, November 8, 2022
TOPEKA – Secretary of State Scott Schwab reminds Kansans that the election night reporting webpage will go live today at 5:00 p.m. on the Secretary of State’s website to provide unofficial election results.
The website includes several features to allow for easy user accessibility. Users will be able to select their top races, filter the results by political party, and find separate tabs for reporting on national, statewide, and legislative races, as well as the two constitutional amendments. “I hope Kansans find the election reporting website a useful resource,” said Schwab.
Please note that local races will not be reported on the Secretary of State’s website. These results can be found on the county election offices’ respective websites.
“Polls across the state close at 7:00 p.m. local time, after which unofficial results will begin to be viewable on the page,” said Schwab. Due to the long ballot and number of judges for retention, the early preliminary numbers may take longer to post.
Official election results will not be available until the County Boards of Canvassers and the State Board of Canvassers have certified the election and all ballots have been counted--including provisional ballots.
