SCHWAB ANNOUNCES NEW SENIOR STAFF APPOINTMENT

TOPEKA – Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab announced the appointment of Jameson Beckner to serve as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Business Services.
“Jameson brings a wealth of experience, agency leadership, and knowledge of the responsibilities of this office. I am fortunate to have such experienced and professional staff within the office to serve our state and welcome Jameson in his new role,” said Schwab.
The Business Services position was previously held by Jennifer Cook who was recently promoted to Assistant Secretary of State. Beckner served as Deputy Director of Elections and Election Security with nearly 10 years of experience in the office. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Government with emphasis in International Relations and master’s degree in Public Policy from Liberty University.
